HPL Makerspace Refresh

Square

Intended Audience: Library users and makers and both library branches in Hillsboro, Oregon

Purpose: I wanted to create a system that was color-coded and iconographic to direct people to various tools and equipment in the makerspace. Eliminating the need for words keeps communication universal. The hexagon shapes are a shout-out to bee hives, reinforcing the idea of building a maker community. The shapes integrate nicely with each other, and are designed to be modular so more can be added on as the space grows.
